Child Privacy and Guardian Notice
A guardian-focused notice about child data, visibility, granular authorization, and the child's choices.
1. Notice before joining
Before a child joins, we explain the data collected, purposes, visibility, recipients, and guardian rights. Application data is used for fit and safety review, not automated diagnosis or rejection based only on a system result.
2. Data minimization
Core service generally needs a nickname, age band, interests, guardian contact, participation content, and necessary safety data. We do not condition basic participation on unnecessary information; images, audio, and AI assistance are separate choices.
3. Guardian authorization and verification
The applicant confirms they are an adult authorized to act for the child. Depending on age, location, and risk, we may verify authority through a verified email, human contact, invitation relationship, or other reasonable steps; higher-risk regions may require stronger verification.
4. The child's choice
Guardian permission does not replace the child's choice. At first entry, the child sees a child-friendly notice and may decline to share, skip activities, choose visibility for each item, seek human help, or ask to leave. We will not force participation when a child clearly declines.
5. Guardian access and withdrawal
Guardians can view authorization records, download applicable data, request correction or deletion, and withdraw granular permissions. To protect the child's reasonable expectation of a safe space, guardians do not automatically see every raw expression; serious safeguarding situations may be handled under the safety plan.
