OFFICIAL DOCUMENT
Media and Creative Work Permission
Separates in-group uploads from public promotion; public use is off by default.
Media inside a group
With media upload enabled, a child may voluntarily add project-related images or audio and choose visibility for each item. Core activities remain available without uploads. Addresses, school identifiers, documents, others' private information, and unsafe content must not be uploaded.
Public promotion needs separate permission
An in-group upload does not permit public use on websites, social media, fundraising, or promotional materials. Public use requires separate permission for the specific work, purpose, channel, and duration from the guardian and child. This version grants no public promotional permission by default.
Withdrawal and deletion
A guardian may withdraw upload permission, and a child may ask to stop sharing or delete work. Lawfully produced offline materials may not be fully recoverable, but new use must stop and the outcome must be explained.
