Safety Incident and Escalation Notice
Explains how the safety team responds, when others may be contacted, and service limitations.
Not an emergency service
Little Spark is not emergency care, a crisis line, or medical service, and does not promise 24/7 real-time monitoring. If someone faces imminent danger, contact local emergency services and a trusted adult now.
Triage and human review
Mentors may report signals involving self-harm, abuse, adult boundary violations, violent threats, severe distress, or privacy exposure. Systems may organize information, but authorized people review facts and decide severity, contact, and next steps.
Possible contact and disclosure
To protect a child, respond to urgent risk, or meet mandatory reporting duties, we may disclose the minimum necessary information to guardians, supervisors, professional support, emergency services, or authorities. Even after permission is withdrawn, legal duties or vital interests may require action.
Records and review
Safeguarding records have restricted access and may be kept for a longer accountability period, then deleted or de-identified under law. The operator reviews response, notification, and improvements without exposing sensitive details in ordinary interfaces.
